Rich Orlow joined the Board of Supervisors in June 2018 after having served as an elected Supervisor from January 2016 to December 2017. Rich first became involved at the Township shortly after moving to East Whiteland in 1989.  He was appointed as a member and later became chairman of the Planning Commission. He also served on the Zoning Hearing Board, Park and Recreation Board and as an Elected Auditor. Currently he serves on the Finance Committee and is Treasurer of the Fire Company. 

Education 

Rich is a Certified Public Accountant and Attorney at Law. He earned a BS degree from Penn State University in Accounting, a JD degree from Delaware Law School and a Masters of Law in Taxation from Temple University School of Law.

Professional

Rich currently works with the Piazza Auto Group handling legal and financial matters for the company. He also serves on the Board of Directors of First Resource Bank, a local Community Bank having locations in Chester County.

Family Life

Rich and his wife, Sandy, have lived in East Whiteland since being married in 1989. They have three children – a recently engaged daughter living in Bridgeport, CT, a son working as a Product Design [mechanical] Engineer at Neutronics in Exton, and a son attending Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster, PA.

Rich enjoys his free time bike riding on the Chester Valley Trail, playing golf and swimming.
