Susan Drummond

Board of Supervisors
Title: Supervisor
Phone: 610-648-0600

Sue Drummond joined the Board of Supervisors in January of 2016. She had served on the Planning Commission since 2004, with the exception of 2014, when she was an Alternate to the Zoning Hearing Board.

She has a particular interest in proper planning for the ongoing growth of the township. Sue has been a resident of East Whiteland since 1985 when she moved here from the borough of Malvern.

Raised in nearby Berwyn, she graduated from Syracuse University, then The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Many years later, she attended Immaculata University and occasionally takes courses at West Chester University. Employed in the pharmaceutical industry from 1982 through 2007, Sue now works part-time for a Daily Money Management firm which gives her time to devote to greater participation in local government.

Additional Interests
She also has a small business, Legacy Tales, which focuses on creating family and personal history books for individuals who wish to leave a record of their lives and experiences for their descendants. Sue has two grown sons, both married, and four grandchildren, all of whom live in Chester County. Sue loves outdoor activities, local history, and singing with the Chester County Choral Society. Look for Sue and the grandkids riding bikes on the Chester Valley Trail!
