The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was signed into law on March 11, 2021, and provides $350 billion for eligible state, local, territorial, and Tribal governments to meet pandemic response needs and rebuild a stronger, more equitable economy as the country recovers. The Township was awarded approximately $1,345,000 in ARPA funds.
The Township intends to award grants to eligible nonprofit organizations for funds to help offset the negative economic impacts and community needs caused by the pandemic in East Whiteland Township and the Great Valley School District.
Food access, education, healthy childhood environments, housing, mental health, underserved children and youth programs assistance, and behavioral health prevention/education.
Application and Program Awards
Grant awards may be made up to $50,000.
Applications are now OPEN until June 30, 2023.
A summary of grant recipients will be posted here once funding has been awarded. Awards are expected to be awarded 60-90 days after the close of the application period.
