General Information

The East Whiteland Township Police Department is committed to providing protection and services within the Township on a 24 hour-a-day basis with strong emphasis on community awareness. The quality of police service often is judged by the response of the police. The department depends on working with the community in a method that provides effective and efficient policing.

Emergency and Non-Emergency Contact

The East Whiteland Township Police are dispatched by the Chester County Radio Room located in West Chester, PA. 

Residents are encouraged to call 911 for all emergencies.

The non-emergency number for the Radio Room is 610-647-1440 where a calltaker will get information from you to pass along to our officers.  This would be for non emergencies, such as delayed incidents, identity thefts, request for information, and other general police questions.  

If there is ever any doubt if your call is an emergency or not, please call 911 and have the operator determine which police response is needed.
