Our trash company doesn’t seem to be doing a yard waste pickup, unless you want it to go to the landfill with the trash. I noticed Phoenixville has a compost program that recycles yard waste and ever resident gets 3 yards of mulch free every year. Seems like a great program, has this been considered in East Whiteland?

We should consider asking the local trash pickup services to change their pickups to every other week rather than every week. This will reduce emissions from the garbage trucks by half! If residents want trash picked up every week, they can add a charge to their accounts.
