Public Financial Management (PFM), which was engaged by the Township to prepare a multi-year financial management plan for East Whiteland, presented the initial portion of the plan to the Board of Supervisors at its December 13 meeting.
PFM reviewed a Financial Condition Assessment and Baseline Finance Projection that is intended to demonstrate the Township’s financial position and primary trends influencing performance. A baseline status quo projection of performance over the next five years was also discussed. Click here to view the report.
The preparation of the multi-year plan is a three-step process that involves a management review and preparation of recommendations as the next two steps. The multi-year plan is being funded jointly by the Township and the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development (DCED).
