2020 General Election - How To Vote By Mail

The 2020 General Election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3rd and it will be here before you know it! Most people know how to vote in person at their polling places.  However, due to Covid-19, many are considering voting by mail-in or absentee ballot as an option this year.  Chester County Voter Services is working diligently to make sure your vote is secure and, most importantly, COUNTED!  

For information on how to vote by mail-in or absentee ballot visit VOTE BY MAIL VITAL INFORMATION to view everything you need to know.  It is anticipated that many more voters will be voting by mail this year. To ensure your ballot is received by Chester County Elections Officials on time:

  • GET REGISTERED
  • APPLY FOR YOUR BALLOT
  • COMPLETE YOUR BALLOT WHEN RECEIVED
  • RETURN YOUR BALLOT IMMEDIATELY

 Did you know you can track the status of your mail-in or absentee ballot?  Visit Track My Election Ballot to get information on your ballot status.  

If you are not able to mail your ballot in on time, you can also drop you ballot off at your polling station on Election Day.  You can also visit Chesco.org/Election to get updates on ballot drop-off box locations in Chester County.
