One of the Township staff's goals for 2016 was to increase communication with constituents. As part of that goal, the Township hired an intern to facilitate the website redesign. Feedback was solicited from the various department heads, members of our volunteer boards and committees, business owners and residents. All the information was used to help generate an RFP that was sent out vendors. Six proposals were received and reviewed by the website redesign project team. Interviews were conducted and ultimately, the Township selected CivicPlus to design and host the new website.
Following the approval by the Board of Supervisors to move forward with CivicPlus, the website redesign project team worked with the vendor to determine the look that would work best to meet the Township's vision and needs for the new website. Content was transferred over from the "old" website and rearranged to be more intuitive and user-friendly.
As with any website, changes will need to be made frequently to ensure information is being disseminated to those interested. If you find that information is out-dated or missing, please do not hesitate to contact the Assistant to the Township Manager, Christina Sarrafian, who is the staff member responsible for managing the new website.
